What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I would enjoy living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you. After I finish healing my leg, of course!

• I recently underwent an orthopedic procedure called a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) and will require physical rehabilitation.
• I have chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.
• Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my toys and food from people. I do well when trading a toy of mine for a high value reward.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I may do best in a home where there are no small children. If there are kids in the home, I would do best with dog-savvy, older kids who know to leave my food alone and to trade for toys during play.
