Volunteer at OHS

OHS was founded by 14 volunteers in 1868, and today relies on over 2,000 volunteers to keep the shelter operating. OHS Volunteers support our mission, enrich the lives of animals and partner with the staff in every department of our organization. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for adults, youths, teams and more. We strive to foster collaboration between staff and volunteers to ensure meaningful opportunities for our volunteers, as well as the staff and animals of OHS.
