• I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
• I have previously lived with children and cats.
• I know some basic cues, such as sit, down and come.
• High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
• Resource Guarding: I have been witnessed to guard my family from other people in my previous home.
• I have chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I am a vocal girl and should not live in a shared living environment such as an apartment complex or conjoined condos.
• I am still working on my leash manners and restraint when I see small animals. I may not be the best fit for folks with mobility challenges.
• I can be rowdy and vocal when meeting other dogs. I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
• I need a home without small animals.
• I have been known to be exuberant with younger, smaller kids and may be overwhelming for them. I would do best in a home with older children.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
