What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I am a social butterfly ready to make new friends.
• I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
• I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
• I would benefit from finding a family that would love to keep me busy by providing mental enrichment through training to help me improve on my dog manners.
• I do have intermittent lameness in my front leg, so I may not be able to go on long adventures or runs, but going on walks or playing in a yard is great fun to me!

• Bite History: I have a history of biting a person. My friends here at OHS can discuss the situation and what setting me up for success looks like!
• I have an abnormal gait suspected to be an old injury. I may have some limitations on my physical abilities due to lameness

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I need a home without small children. My energy level can be too overwhelming for younger, smaller kids.
• I can be a vocal guy, so I am not a good fit for a family in a shared living environment like an apartment or conjoined condo.
• I may do best in a home where there is another dog to help teach me manners and to play with!
• I can be exuberant when meeting other dogs. I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
