Hi everyone! I'm Scooby, and I might just be the sweetest boy you haven't met yet!I love to be around people! I've been known to put my head in my favorite people's laps to get pets. My friends here think I'd make a great buddy for curling up on the couch to watch a movie or read together!While I love to spend time with my friends here at the shelter that I've gotten to know, I can be a bit shy with new people and in new situations. I'd do best with a family that can take things at my own pace in a calm environment - I promise you'll be rewarded with lots of love for your patience!Don't let my fearful side fool you though, I will be a high energy pup who will need a lot of love, patience, training, and stimulation. Thankfully, I'm always up for an adventure. My friends here have said I'm great on leash, so I'd be a pretty perfect buddy for a hike or even just a stroll around the neighborhood.I am not a fan of sharing things such as my bed or toys, so I will need to be the only pet in the home. If you think we may be a perfect match, come stop by and meet me! The best part? I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. That means you'll have plenty of time to get to know me before you officially adopt me!

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
