Hello there! My name is Iris and I'm all about affection, adventure, and finding my forever family. I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
Speaking of adventures, I am an active young lady and will need outlets for my energy in my new home. Playing with toys, romping in the yard, or going for walks together all sound like a great time to me! I would love to play fetch with you as much as we can. I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!
Mental enrichment activities are a great way to entertain me and work my brain. I'm a smart lady, and I already know some cues like 'sit' and 'shake'. Treats are a great way to teach me new things, and a great way to earn my trust!
I've met other dogs, but I can be picky with my canine friends. I'll need to meet any dogs you have before you adopt me to make sure we hit it off and your dog should be of similar size. Sorry, no cats or small animals in my new home please!
If you think we may be a perfect match, come stop by and meet me! The best part? I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. That means you'll have plenty of time to get to know me before you officially adopt me!
