The eighth annual Canines Uncorked wine tour highlights 15 North Willamette Valley wineries where dogs are counted among the guests of honor. A “License to Taste” passport includes free wine tastings at each participating winery, dog activities, and two complimentary tasting cards valid at all participating wineries during the month of August. This event is a benefit for shelter animals.
The “License to Taste” passport is only valid on August 4th during event hours (11am-4pm). So that you may visit other wineries that you may not get to visit the day of the event, you will receive two complimentary tasting cards each good for one tasting at any participating winery. Cards are valid during the month of August. Please note that activities from the event will not be setup after August 4th. Also, some wineries are not dog-friendly (with the exception of the event day). Please call ahead or check the winery’s website before bringing you canine friend with you.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 day of (designated drivers do not need to purchase tickets for the event). Online ticket sales are closed at this time. Please plan to purchase your tickets the day of the event.

A Blooming Hill Vineyards & Winery
Perfect Pairs – Come mix and mingle with Oregon Humane Society dogs, many who have come from other shelters all over the West Coast, available for adoption at this outdoor tail-wagging party. Have you adopted a dog from OHS? If so, take home an OHS Alumni bandana for your pooch so they can show off where they came from.
Year of the Dog – LexiDog Boutique and Social Club has teamed up with Apolloni Vineyards to host an unforgettable party in honor of Year of the Dog! Play fun games, enjoy Chinese New Year crafts, and peruse Year of the Dog merchandise from Goldenwave Creations. Your pup will be catered with special treats and goodies too.
Ardiri Winery & Vineyards
Grapes & Games – Lay back, relax and enjoy a glass of wine while soaking up the beautiful view at Ardiri Winery & Vineyard. Walk along the grapes and enjoy fun lawn games such as ladder balls, giant jenga and the always popular corn hole!
Cake, Canines & Carménère – This year the Oregon Humane Society turns 150 years old. Join us for a fun birthday party to commemorate the occasion. Enjoy birthday cake, 150th merchandise for sale, and try your hand at some classic party games.
Wine & Wellness – Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about your pet’s health at Dion Vineyard. Visit the pet first aid display to see what items you should always have in your canine companion’s first aid kit. While there, visit with Pupp Yoga to hear the benefits behind practicing yoga and where to take yoga classes with puppies.
Elk Cove Vineyards
Hollywood Hounds – Strutt your mutt over to Elk Cove Vineyards to see the latest styles in canine fashions from Portland’s trendiest doggie boutique, LexiDog Social Club and Boutique. While there, enter the raffle to win a private shopping party at Garnish.
Paws & Paint – This is the spot for lovers of dogs, wine and art! See beautiful pet-themed work from local artists and visit Bottle & Bottega’s table where you can create your own masterpiece with your dog’s paw print in paint!
Taste & Treats – We all love a tasty treat! Come learn about good nutrition for your pet while enjoying delicious wine at Kramer Vineyards. Your pup can savor a variety of goodies during your visit.
Dogs Gone Wild – Unleash the wild in your dog on a fun agility course! Agility is a great activity that you can enjoy together. An OHS Training and Behavior expert will be onsite to share insights into your dog’s wild side.
Patton Valley Vineyard
Relax with Rover – While you relax with the spectacular wine at Patton Valley Vineyard, your pooch can enjoy a complimentary massage from Heal Animal Massage. Learn how massage is a great way to maintain your dog’s health and well-being.
Plum Hill Vineyards
Tunes & Toys – Relax on the beautiful patio at Plum Hill Vineyards while you listen to live music and enjoy wonderful wine. Your canine companion can indulge in our dog toy bar to occupy their time.
Risdall Ranch Winery
Pinot & Pet Talk – “Woof, Woof, Woof,” says your dog. (Translation: Take me to Risdall Ranch Winery to meet with animal communicator Shawna Fischer of Nature’s Keeper!)
Ruby Vineyard & Winery
Nose Works – While your senses take in the aromas and tastes at the fabulous Ruby Vineyard & Winery, your pooch can have fun following their own nose with K9 Nose Work. Help develop your dog’s scenting capabilities through fun “follow your nose” activities! Be sure to bring your dog’s favorite treats with you (there will also be lots of treats on-site)!
Lickin’ Luau – Your dog will definitely want to visit SakéOne, where s/he will be greeted with a lei Hawaii-style. Dogs can cool off in a doggie pool and chill out with pup-friendly snow cones. Next up: Flamingo Croquet! Puppy paradise, right? Come check it out!
Willamette Valley Vineyards at Tualatin Estate
Photos & Fido – Enjoy the views at Tualatin Estate as the beautiful landscape unravels into a natural scenic backdrop for a photo of you and your faithful four-legged companion taken by Zach Putnam of Zach Putnam Photography. Photos will be shared online for viewing and print ordering.
