• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I have lived with other dogs in my last home.
• I like to make my way through life at a slower pace: short walks, lots of naps, and savoring tasty food.
• I am a sweet and sensitive gal who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
• I need to go to a home without small children. Fast movements and loud noises frighten me, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.
• I can be picky about my canine companions. Slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust to a home with resident dogs.
• I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
