• Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my food and toys from other animals or people.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I can be sensitive to handling, including but not limited to medical/grooming and restraint. I will need someone who can help offer guidance in these situations and offer a bit more patience!

At our Salem Campus, meet and greets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
