• I'm sweet as can be, once you give me the time to adjust. Let's take the time to get to know each other first, shall we?
• I like to be with my people, but also enjoy my independence. If you're looking for a lay by your feet kinda guy (as opposed to those lap dogs!) I'm the one for you!
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I lived with other small dogs in my last home.
• Don't pass me up because of my age! Provide me with a stroll around the block, and a comfy bed and I will be the perfect companion. You know I deserve it!

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
