What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • Making new friends is so much fun! I'm a very social and confident boy.
  • I will be your sunshine on rainy days.
  • I'm a vivacious, energetic guy looking for a similar companion. I love to throw myself into activities, so if you are the same, let's go play!
  • Do you love bear hugs? Me too! I've been told that those aren't appropriate greetings, and I'm trying hard to learn that- could you help me?
  • I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter! But if your resident dog does not like to wrestle then we probably aren't the best match.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my physical and mental exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
  • Click here to sign-up for our Start over Rover class! We will help you set you on the right path to have the best life possible with your new furry friend through training, games, and exercises!
  • I have been diagnosed with giardia which is a contagious intestinal parasite. I will need to be quarantined during my treatment period.

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I may do best in a home where there is a resident dog for me to play with!
  • I will do best in a home without cats or other small animals.
  • I am completely oblivious to my large size, and my big, goofy ways may be too much for young kids.
  • It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
