Celebrating Three Years of Profound Impact

Continuing Our Commitment to Animals & Our Community

Our New Road Ahead expansion project opened in the fall of 2022. Three years later, we take a look at the many ways OHS is serving pets and people in our communities better than ever.

Near the end of 2022, after years of planning, we opened our Community Veterinary Hospital, Behavior & Rescue Center, and Animal Crimes Forensic Center. To achieve this largest expansion of space and services in OHS’ history, our community of donors invested generously, showing a commitment to doing more for people and animals in Oregon.

We set out with a bold vision to help more animals stay happy and healthy in loving homes by increase access to critical veterinary services, creating a safe space for animals to heal and learn how to thrive, and establish the resources needed to hold people who abuse or neglect animals accountable.

Together, we built these amazing buildings. Now, it’s the people—the team at OHS and our generous community—who are making the vision a reality.
