Oregon Humane Salem Spay & Neuter Clinic
In 2010, Oregon Humane Salem Campus (formerly Willamette Humane Society) opened the region’s first low-cost, high-quality spay and neuter clinic. Our clinic serves owned cats, community cats, Oregon Humane shelter pets, and rescue partners. Since opening, shelter veterinarians have performed more than 70,000 procedures.
Our compassionate team is made up of qualified, licensed veterinarians, as well as trained, licensed certified veterinary technicians (CVTs), and veterinary assistants. We are proud to offer accessibly-priced services, as well as reduced costs for community members on government assistance. At this time, we are only serving cats.

Rates & Services
Our Salem Spay & Neuter Clinic is pleased to offer affordable spay/neuter services for owned cats, community cats, and feral cats. These services include pain medication, nail trim, and e-collar. Our current feline-focused services and pricing include:
Surgery Pricing
Feline Spay and Neuter
- Standard Rate: $150
- Financial Assistance Rate: $70
- Feral Rate: $50
Payment for surgery is required at the time of appointment booking.
Additionally, our clinic offers the following services for cats at the time of their procedure:
Cat Wellness Packages
- Parasite (includes deworming and ear mite/flea treatment): $15
- Beginner (includes FVRCP vaccine and Parasite Package): $30
- Standard (includes Beginner Package and rabies vaccine): $40
- Ultimate (includes Standard Package and microchip with registration): $55

- FVRCP Vaccine: $15
- FeLV/FIV Blood Test: $35
