• Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.
• New things are a little scary to me, but all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.
• Playing really helps me come out my shell and it's a great way for us to bond. Wand toys are my favorite!
• When I feel overwhelmed, I might swat at legs to communicate that I'm scared. I do best in calm, quiet environments and can find busy, chaotic settings stressful.
• Once I feel safe and settled, my sweet side shines through-I love being petted and will meow to let you know I'd like some attention.
• Give me a cozy blanket and a window with a view of wildlife, and I'm one happy camper.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
• I may do best with an owner who has had experience owning or caring for shy and fearful cats.
• I need to go to a home without small children.
• I would prefer to be the only cat in my new home.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
