What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I am a sensitive and shy kitten. I may hide from you at first and for a while until I know I can trust you.
- I'm still learning how to be social with people. Please be patient with me! I am much more likely to come out of my shell if I am around another confident cat who can show me the ropes. Seeing my humans interact with another cat may also help me understand that I can trust them!
- To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
- I may do best in a home where there is another cat to help boost my confidence. While I may hide from humans, I have been loving meeting and playing with the other cats in my foster home!
- Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.
- I have the cutest meow! You may hear me chirp and sing when I am meeting new cats or become more comfortable with my humans.
- Once I am comfortable enough with my humans, I love getting booty scrtiches, and my elevator butt goes all the way to the top floor!
- Handling Sensitivity: I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint, or touch--especially on my head and face! I guess you could also say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" -- I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held. I may exhibit my discomfort with handling and being picked up in a variety of ways and will need to go to cat savvy home.
- I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy. I especially love wand toys, silly circles, puff balls, and crinkle tunnels!

Interested in adopting me?
Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. From there, we will make an initial appointment for a phone consult to discuss their needs, and then schedule a meet and greet. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
