Cotton’s Transformation 

Oregon Humane Society provides care and finds homes for more than 11,000 animals every year. Our mission is to create a More Humane Society for all animals in our community. Thanks to our incredible supporters, animals like Cotton have bright futures.  

Cotton arrived at OHS underweight with protruding bones and raw, painful skin. He barely looked like a dog. But we had hope for Cotton. OHS’ Medical team worked quickly, providing Cotton with the diligent care needed to begin to heal his skin—inflamed due to long untreated mite infestation. The OHS Animal Care team fed Cotton nourishing food and filled his days with enrichment and companionship. And soon, Cotton began to change for the better. 

 Today, Cotton is unrecognizable from the dog that first arrived. Thanks to his loving adopter, Zoe, who recognized his limitless potential, Cotton is thriving.
