OHS regularly ranks as one the region's most favorite charities. Established in 1868, we have over 1,000 volunteers and over 20,000 members.

 

OHS relies solely on the voluntary donations and does not receive any tax dollars, government money, or portions of donations made to national humane organizations.

Corporate Giving Alternatives

 

Every company has their own unique way to support OHS.

 

Some chose to delegate giving decisions to a Giving Committee. Others empower their marketing/PR department or agency to make giving decisions. Still others encourage employees  to raise funds through a variety of activities such as "Jeans Days," photos contests and special events.  Some companies pool customer/client donations during specific time periods.
