As a member of the Oregon Humane Society Board of Directors, I commit to the following responsibilities in the coming year, to the best of my ability, in support of the organization’s mission and success. If there are areas where I am not able to participate, I will also indicate those here.

Your Name(Required)
Ex. I will make every effort to attend at least 8 of the 10 scheduled board meetings during the year.
Ex. I will actively serve on XYZ board committee(s), sharing my knowledge, expertise, and time to help further committee objectives.
Ex. I pledge to personally support Oregon Humane Society through financial contributions [list amounts if known] from myself, aligned with my means, and/or from my company [list amounts if known], and/or the activation of my personal and professional network for giving.
Ex. I will commit to securing or sponsoring one full table at a major annual fundraising event, or two half tables across two events, or lead a Doggie Dash fundraising team.
Ex. I will help identify and cultivate [goal number] new donor relationships, which may include individuals, businesses, or planned gift prospects. When appropriate, I will coordinate the introduction of them to the appropriate Advancement staff member.
Ex. I will steward my existing donor relationships and further OHS’ visibility by hosting or participating in small-group engagement opportunities and/or representing OHS at community outreach events and other public gatherings.
Ex. I will meet with an Advancement staff member to explore opportunities to contribute my time, expertise, and experience more deeply.
Ex. I will be an advocate of our mission, actively amplifying the organization’s impact by sharing stories, promoting awareness, and using platforms such as word-of-mouth, social media, or public speaking opportunities.
After submitting this form, a member of the OHS Board Advancement Committee will connect with you to discuss your commitment.
