Description:

IN FOSTER | I have a video! | Bear is a sweet, smart, active dog who had a rough start in life. He has been in a foster home recuperating from some allergies, and has been learning the ropes of normal dog life. He has been doing well with crate training and potty training, but is still building up his confidence around new people and in new situations. He would do best with an active companion who will direct his energy, intelligence, and ability to focus into training, physical activity, play, and perhaps agility or Frisbee. Bear is a brilliant dog who is eager to participate in training, so we highly recommend a Basic Manners class to help build his confidence and also your relationship. We think that Bear would do best as the only pet in the home, and one without young kids. Despite Bear's sweet face, we do not believe that he is for the first time dog owner. Are you ready to open your heart to this wonderful dog with loads of potential? A medical and training consult is included prior to Bear's adoption. To make an appointment to meet Bear, please email the Foster Department at foster[at]oregonhumane.org, or call 503-416-1980 or 503-416-5025.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
