• We are bonded! We must go home together and our adoption fee includes both of us.
• We came all the way to OHS through the Second Chance Program.
• New things are a little scary to us, but all we need is time and someone to show us it's okay.
• We may be shy at first, but once we get to know each other we will shower you with love!
• Shy and Nervous: We can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. We prefer to take things at our own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• Pixie can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. She may exhibit her discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a dog savvy home.
• We have medical conditions that require long term management.
• Pixie has a heart murmur that may require long term monitoring.
• Trixie has arthritis , which there is no cure for, but there are many ways to manage.

The type of home we're looking for:

• As older ladies, we are looking for a home to live out our golden years soaking up all the love we can get.
• Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make us uncomfortable, we would do best in a home with calm, older children.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
