What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I have been working with the Behavior and Training team here at OHS for consistency and am looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.
• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• Nothing gets past my nose! I take my role as inspector very seriously. I'm curious and will investigate whatever my people-friends are busy with.
• My hobbies include casual strolls through the park to sniff the flowers, cuddling on the couch for movies and enjoying plenty of snacks.
• I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
• I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to dog savvy home.
• House Training: I have a history of housetraining struggles.
• I know I may be small but I love walks and I sometimes forget my strength when I am so excited to get outside. My friends say I am very responsive to training and getting better!

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
