What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I love nothing more than making new friends, human and canine!
• I may look all grown up, but I am a still a bit of a puppy. My new family members should be ready to handle my size and exuberant affection!
• I love to run and chase, so I am all for fluffy toys to chase, food dispensing toys and any kind of game, really! Keeping my brain busy, will help keep me (and you!) happy.
• I lived with elementary school-age kids in my last home.
• Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets.
• Are you ready for me and you to be stuck like glue?
• I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• Escape Artist: I have a history of escaping doors or fences. I will need supervision when outdoors or we can go on adventures together - on leash of course!
• High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my physical and mental exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I need a home without cats or other small animals.
• I must go to a home with a fenced in yard.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
