Happy Tails: Pax’s Next Adventure

An active pup finds a life full of adventure

Pax was adopted from the Oregon Humane Society in December 2018. Since then, Pax and her adopter Alli have become the ultimate weekend warriors by trail running in the Gorge, the Mt. Hood Wilderness and the coast. Alli shared this adoption update with us:

“I settled in PDX in mid-2018 and once I was really feeling ready, I made a Thursday evening trip to OHS just to ‘check out the pups.’ I walked through all the pods; Pax was the very last dog I saw as I was on my way out and I knew the moment I saw her that she was my girl. That Saturday I brought her home.

Pax and I spend just about every minute of every day together. We are very fortunate that she can come to work with me every day. Our very favorite activity is trail running; it’s in our blood. Since I’ve had Pax, we have covered more than 1,250 adventure miles together on paw/foot (runs, hikes, days out on the trails). She’s a special girl. How lucky I am to have her in my life!”

Thank you, Alli, for giving Pax a life full of adventure and love with you.
