What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I have been working with the Behavior team here at OHS and am looking for a special home. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.
• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.
• Handling Sensitivity: I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home.
• Give me a little time to adjust and I will show you I am the biggest sweetheart.
• Playing really helps me come out my shell and it's a great way for us to bond. I love all kinds of toys...feather wands, balls with bells and tunnels to race through.
• Did I hear you have treats? Churus are my favorite, maybe you can share some with me.
• I enjoy the company of other cats, they help me feel more confident and comfortable in my environment.
• I'm still learning that being pet is something I could enjoy, but everyday I am making progress!

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
