FOSTER: Ebony has it going on. She is a sweet and loving girl who likes to cuddle at night. She may be a little shy at first but she quickly reveals her playful side. She likes to bat around small mice and other stuffed animals but a pen top can be a toy, too. Ebony likes humans but she is not so fond of other cats so she should be the only cat in the household since she is afraid of other cats and sometimes hides to get away from them. Also, she may hiss or growl if they get too close to her. Ebony will let people pick her up and sometimes she kneads her little paws on an arm or shoulder and purrs while being held. Ebony is a very amiable cat but she is also very clear when she does not want to do something since she'll make squeaky meows. She may give a gentle bite if the meow is ignored. Ebony is diabetic and eats dry diabetic cat food. A medical consultation to discuss Ebony's diabetes is included in her adoption fee. She does not have any litter box problems and it is easy to give her insulin shots. Also, she is very good about using scratching posts and currently she uses either carpeted or sisal covered posts.
