OHS After-School Clubs
2016-2017 Club Registration is now closed.
All OHS After-School Clubs are currently full with a waiting list.
Registration for club is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be notified via the email address you entered on September 7 as to whether we received your registration before the club was filled.
OHS clubs are for youth in grades 3-8. All clubs meet once a month (except January), from October through May. Clubs take place at the Oregon Humane Society in our Education Hall from 5:45-7:30 pm.
Club members interact with shelter animals, take part in a humane education lesson or activity, and share a snack. In addition, members may help plan and carry out projects to benefit shelter animals. Members must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes to all club meetings.
Who: 3rd-8th graders
What: Clubs for youth interested in learning more about animals. One-time $25 fee and completed waiver and pick-up policy notice due at first meeting.
Where: Oregon Humane Society, Education Hall (location and directions)
When: October-May; dates/times below.
- Kids for Animals I – Grades 3-4 – Meets the first Thursday of each month from 5:45-7:30 pm *EXCEPTION: the first meeting is October 13 & the April meeting falls on Tuesday, Apr. 11
- Kids for Animals II – Grades 5-6 – Meets the second Thursday of each month from 5:45-7:30 pm *EXCEPTION: the first meeting is October 20
- Juniors for Animals – Grades 7-8 – Meets the third Thursday of each month from 5:45-7:30 pm *EXCEPTION: the first meeting is October 27
- Annual fee for all clubs: $25
