OHS has more than 13,000 pounds of food, donated by GreaterGood.org allocated for this effort. Since the majority is dog food, OHS is also seeking donations of cat food and litter to help meet the needs of the community. You can help by ordering these items online or dropping them off at the shelter.
OHS has been working around the state to help people feed their pets during this crisis. Since late April, close to 60,000 pounds of food has been delivered to nearly every county in the state.
“We are very thankful to our partners who have supported OHS and made this effort possible,” added Harmon.
