• I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.
• Mental enrichment activities are a great way to entertain me and work my brain.
• I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. I will also need more patience at the vet as I am sensitive to medical handling.

At our Salem Campus, meet and greets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
