Hi there, my name is Boris - I am a staff favorite, a sweet and social kitty, and I've had quite an eventful life so far!
My friends aren't sure what my life was like before I came to the shelter. A nice person found me and brought me here to get the medical treatment I needed. I had surgery on my eyelids and teeth, and some meds, and I'm feeling a lot better now!
What are the best things about me? I'm an expert biscuit maker and headbutter, and my purr motor is alway running. I've even been known to strut around the shelter in my harness!
Now, while I'm very sweet, I had to pick up some feisty habits to make it out on my own in the big tough world. I can get overstimulated , and can sometimes use my mouth and claws when playing and getting pets. I'll need an owner that can respect my signals and space when I need it, and I'll give you plenty of love in return!
When I was being treated, my friends learned I had picked up something else out in the world: FIV , which means I need to live indoors only for the rest of my days. I miss it sometimes, but I make up for it by spending lots of time cuddled up inside with my friends, and watching the world go by window watching.
Anyway, thanks for reading my story. My friends here at the shelter love me very much, but they want to see me go home, and that's what I want too! Maybe that home could be with you?
