Hi there, my name's Emmy, it's nice to meet you!

I might be a little slow to warm up, but once you get to know me I can be really affectionate. I even like to snuggle, so if you're looking for some company while you watch your favorite shows I might be the one for you!

I've been working closely with volunteers and staff the past few weeks to become more brave! I will need someone who can be patient with me, help me grow my confidence, and work with me on socialization with people and other pets.

I've enjoyed playing with other dogs in my foster home, and I would love to be in a home or have regular contact with another dog that is confident, who can help me grow into the best dog I can be!

I've also been working on learning some new tricks; some of the ones I almost have in my repertoire are 'sit, down, place, look, leave it, and come'- I'm confident that with more practice I'll be able to learn even more! I've also gotten really good at walking on a leash. Long walks and fun outings together will help boost my confidence too!
