Clay is an adorable puppy, but is still adjusting to the world around him. Clay needs a home that understands how much work goes into raising a puppy, but also understands that due to his worried nature, he will require more energy to help him develop into a happy, well adjusted adult. Like all puppies, Clay will need help with house-training, outlets for his youthful energy, and will need lots of socialization. We believe it will be necessary to take Clay through a puppy training class, like the puppy manners program here, so he can start learning his basic manners, and meet lots of people and dogs. Clay also needs to go to a home where there is another confident dog who can teach him the ropes. We also recommend crate-training your new puppy and have a crate rental program here at OHS, please inquire at the front desk. A behavior consult is included prior to adoption.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance for Oregon Residents and plenty of post adoption support!
