  • Meet adopters who have given new homes to animals in need
  • Learn training tips and tricks from OHS behavior specialists
  • Meet the OHS medical team, who transform pets’ lives
  • See the life-saving work of OHS Humane Officers who  investigate nearly 1,000 cases each year
  • See behind-the-scenes documentaries which take you inside the world of OHS veterinarians, volunteers and educators

Your Telethon hosts at the shelter include OHS Executive Director Sharon Harmon, KATU news anchors Deb Knapp and Carl Click, and Helen Raptis, host of AM Northwest. Our "roving reporter" inside the shelter will be KATU news reporter Kerry Tomlinson. Mitch Elliott, from K 105.1 The Buzz, will present his special "Mitch's Mutts" segment every hour in hopes of finding a home for a very special pet.

At "Donation Central" located inside KATU, the festivities will be hosted by KATU Meterologist Dave Salesky and KATU news anchor Angelica Thornton, assisted by David Lytle and Stephanie Kittrell of OHS.
