The Fourth Annual Telethon for the Animals was a great success thanks to you, KOIN, and our sponsors.

OHS raised over $70,000 from calls made to the phone bank during the telethon on October 18, 2003. Combined with web site donations, mailed in donations, and money collected at the shelter, this community raised almost $150,000 to support the good work done at the shelter. Donations are still coming in so the final tally keeps rising.

A remarkable thing happened this year. The shelter was a hub of great activity inluding the adoption of 70 dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents. Thank you everyone who stopped by and found the love of their life.
