Mourning the Loss of a Pet

Losing your dog or cat isn't much different from losing a family member. It is not uncommon to grieve for a lost pet like you would for a human family member who has passed away. Memorial services are available through the Oregon Humane Society, as are mausoleums and pet cemeteries. Private cremations are also available through OHS. To ensure that your pet's memory lives on, you can also make a donation in his or her name. And a good cry will always help the healing process.
