What past students are saying about this class

”Thank you to Jenna Kirby, OHS Dog Trainer, who prepared a fantastic and deeply informative interactive presentation on dog behavior and how to read dog body language. It should be mandatory for all staff and volunteers working with dogs. If she gives it again, you must attend!  Thanks Jenna!”

From Patti McKinney

OHS Volunteer

What are our dogs saying to us and to each other?

If you want to learn more about dog body language and how dogs communicate, then come to an interactive and informative workshop put on by the Oregon Humane Society Training and Behavior Department. You will observe shelter dogs, view fascinating photos, and watch selected videos of dogs expressing a wide range of messages. Learn how to read the different parts of a dog’s body and how to put all the pieces together to understand his/her emotional states. Included with the class fee is a take-home packet filled with educational articles, the class outline and other items.

People only please, leave pets at home.
