FAST-TRACK ONE DAY WORKSHOPS
Do you live outside the Portland area? Or are you unable to attend all 5 weeks of prep school? Rather than attend the entire prep course, you can attend our all-day, condensed workshop with your dog to learn the skills and information you'll need to become a Pet Partner team. You will have a half hour break for lunch (please bring your own lunch). Students must return at a later date for their final evaluation as specified below. Price: The regular price for workshop is $160 plus an additional book purchase of $40. Oregon Humane Society Volunteers receive an embroidered AAI OHS vest and the course manual free of charge, a savings of $70.
Please note:
After successfully completing the Pet Partner evaluation, Pet Partner teams usually spend 2-4 hours per month at a facility visiting patients and residents. If you are with a facility that would like an OHS team to visit, contact Jennifer Shirley at (503) 802-6712. CLASS REQUIREMENT: The Oregon Humane Society requires that all animals in our training classes are spayed or neutered (animals attending private training consultations are exempt from this requirement). Register here for Rounds 3 or 4. Register here for a Fast Track Workshop. |
