Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.) Prep Class

 

We offer a 5-week specialized dog training course designed to help you and your canine companion pass the American Kennel Club's widely recognized certification - the Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.) test. On the last night of class you will test for the CGC with your trainer.

 

If you hope to become a Pet Partner Team or 'therapy dog' team eventually, this class can be a great way to help you both prepare for the evaluation and build the skills you need to become a certified team.

Price

 

$150 for the prep class including the CGC test on the last night of class. Pre-registration and payment required to participate!

 

 

Requirements

 

1.Completion of a basic obedience/manners class.

2. 4 months or older

3. Spayed or neutered

4. Up-to-date on vaccinations for Rabies, Parvo, Distember and Bordatella

5. No known aggression towards people or dogs

6. For dogs under 6 months, the spay/neuter and Rabies vaccine requirements can be waived.
