The Oregon Humane Society is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the brazen theft of a puppy from the Portland shelter on the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The two-month-old puppy, called Marlowe, was stolen between 3 pm and 6 pm, just one day after being offered for adoption at the OHS shelter located at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd. The puppy, a female Australian shepherd/pit bull mix, was stolen from a locked kennel located off the shelter lobby.
