Fore the Animals Golf Tournament | Register by Wed, August 1

Register for this tournament to benefit the animals at the Oregon Humane Society. The scramble format featuring “twisted whisker and doggie poo-over packages” adds to the on-course fun for beginning and seasoned players at the scenic Columbia Edgewater Golf Club. Purrs Thursday | Thursday, August 2

August’s First Thursday art walk in the Pearl is your chance to bring stunning artwork, along with the artist who created it, into your home. A special “Purrs Thursday” display at Tufenkian Artisan Carpets will feature the work of feline artists from the Oregon Humane Society.

 

The abstract paintings by cats will be available for purchase, and the cats themselves will be available for adoption. Complimentary wine and other refreshments provided by Tufenkian Artisan Carpets, the sponsor of Purrs Thursday. All proceeds will benefit the Oregon Humane Society. Get all the details here.

Ride for the Paws Motorcycle Ride | Sunday, Sept. 16

 

All motorcycle riders (and their passengers) are encouraged to participate in the 6th Annual Ride for the Paws on Sunday Sept. 16. You'll enjoy spectacular northwest scenery, a mid-tour stop for lunch, and tours of OHS at the end of ride. All proceeds benefit the animals at OHS. Details here.
