The 2011 Grand Prize for the OHS Fuzzy, Furry and Feathered Friend's Photo Contest went to Tonya Vokral for a portrait of her dog Sundrop. The awards were presented June 16 at a special event hosted by KGW's Matt Zaffino at the George Morlan NW Design Center. Now in it's 20th year, the contest received more than 1,800 entries in 2011.

Vokral received a Canon digital SLR camera from Pro Photo Supply and Canon, plus a $250 gift card from Beard's Framing. The winners of the best pictures of dogs, cats and other animals received $100 gift cards from Pro Photo Supply and Beard's Framing, with the winners of all remaining categories getting $50 gift cards.

The contest was judged by Jon Combs and Lori Carruthers of Pro Photo Supply; Kelly Carver and Scott McDonald of Beard’s Framing, Alicia Dickerson of Four-legged Photo, David Childs of David Childs Photgraphy and the staff of the Oregon Humane Society.
