Fuzzy, Furry & Feathered Friends Photo Contest Winners for 2009

OHS received over 1,500 photos for the 2009 Fuzzy, Furry & Feathed Friends Photo Contest -- and it was harder than ever to select the winners!

 

The 2009 Grand Prize went to Chris Pokorny for his photograph of Zoey relaxing in front of Multnomah Falls. The picture perfectly captures the Lab's expressive face and frames the landmark waterfall in the backfround.

 

Pokorny received a Canon Rebel XSi Digital SLR digital camera from Pro Photo Supply. The best dog, cat, and "other" animal photo winners received $100 Pro Photo Supply gift cards and winners of the the remaining categories received $50 gift cards.  All winning photos will be published in the Summer issue of the OHS magazine.

 

The contest was judged by Tom Darnall and Gina Kelley, Pro Photo Supply; Alicia Dickerson, Four-legged Photo; Alex Wijnen, Defteling Design; Jacques Von Lunen, The Oregonian; and the staff of Oregon Humane Society.
