Own a fabulous work of textile art! Price: $1,500

Richly detailed Afghan Mauri tribal rug,  hand-knotted 100% wool pile with impressive knot density of 676 knots per square inch (graded extremely fine). Vibrant midnight blue, red, cream, and  mocha colors with an unusual tiny turquoise detail. Traditional complex pattern, so tightly woven that it is equally beautiful on both sides of the rug. Made in 1983 and purchased from Pande Cameron in Seattle. Size: 4'2" x 5'5". Exquisite rugs of this origin and quality are hard to find now. The 6/8" wide selvage (area between the rug and fringe) on one end has a small 1/4" x 3/8" hole that can easily be repaired. Prime condition with no fading or wear--it has been used as a wall hanging.
