All proceeds support the Oregon Humane Society's regular programs including sheltering and adoptions, medical care, cruelty investigations, animal-assisted therapy, pet behavior and humane education.

Sell your item on eBay and donate the proceeds to OHS
As you are posing an item to sell on eBay you will come across a section called eBay Giving Works. You can donate 10-100% of your sale to your favorite nonprofit and eBay will give you a credit on basic selling fees. Click on “Select your favorite nonprofit” and type in Oregon Humane Society. Type in the percentage you would like to donate. Sell away!
Take items to a participating retail shop and direct proceeds to OHS

Perfect for after a garage sale, spring cleaning, or when your kids have outgrown their clothes. Just tell them you want to help the animals at the Oregon Humane Society.
Columbia Recycling PDX: Go green and recycling while helping the animals too. Drop off metal, aluminum, copper, brass, lap tops, wires, clothing, bedding, books, housewares, toys, tools and help the animals. For a complete list and drop off locations click here. Donate
The following is a partial list of the types of items that can be donated to OHS. Because of the time and costs involved with processing these kinds of non-cash gifts, items should be readily salable or have a high value.
