Prizes for Individuals When you raise funds for Doggie Dash, you not only get the satisfaction of helping animals in need, you can also receive fun gifts for you and your pets.

Everyone who raises $250 receives: Stainless-steel "End Petlessness" dog bowl "Woof" ceramic coffee mug with OHS logo on one side and "WOOF" on the other side The animals receive: $250 will provide needed medical vaccinations to 50 shelter animals at the OHS medical center.
Everyone who raises $500 receives: All of the above, plus ... Limited edition Doggie Dash long-sleeve athletic shirt Stylish "Adopt" nylon pet leash "Best Hikes with Dogs in Oregon" guidebook by Ellen Morris Bishop The animals receive: $500 will offset the cost off transporting 35 dogs from another shelter to OHS, where they literally get a second chance at life.
Everyone who raises $1,000 receives: All of the above, plus ... Dinner for two at Lucy's Table, a top Portland restaurant $10 in free gourmet dog treats from LexiDog Boutique and Social Club The animals receive: $1,000 will help fight the serious problem of cat overpopulation by funding the spaying of 26 cats at the OHS medical center.
Everyone who raises $2,500 receives: All of the above, plus ... A unique Flip high-definition video camera dressed up in OHS "End Petlessness" artwork The animals receive: $2,000 will pay for feeding every pet in the OHS shelter for two weeks.
Everyone who raises $5,000 receives: All of the above, plus ... An Apple iPad2 The animals receive: $5,000 will fund a full day of operations at the OHS medical center? Last year our medical team performed more than 11,500 spay/neuter surgeries along with another 1,046 surgeries that were essential to the health of shelter animals.

Top Three Individual Fundraisers Our top three individual fundraisers qualify for special gifts. The #1 fundraiser wins the honor of being the "Leader of the Pack." This individual gets the first position at the Doggie Dash starting line.

Team Prizes Special prizes will be awarded to the three Doggie Dash teams that raise the most dollars for pets. Watch this page for more information. Last year, top teams won free tickets to special events and recognition in the OHS Magazine and web site. The top fundraising team also gets to be "Leader of the Pack" and start first at the starting line.

Any team that raises over $2,500 by May 11th gets a free 10' x 10' space and canopy in the Doggie Dash festival area. The space can be used as a hospitality tent for your team or as booth for your company (you may provide your own tent and/or banner if desired).

New for 2011: The #1 team will have its name engraved on the all-new Doggie Dash Trophy. The Doggie Dash Trophy will be in the possession of the winning team for one year, an eye-catching reminder of your team's commitment to animals.

Eligibility OHS employees and board members, and sponsor employees, are not eligible for the top three individual prizes or for the too three team prizes (OHS teams include the "Canine Crusaders" and the "Board Bowsers").

The following people currently in the Top 20 Honor Roll are not eligible for the top three individual prizes because of these eligibility rules: Jessica Wiseley Kruger, Sue Lay, Jenna Kirby, Kelly Podoloff.

To qualify for prizes, all donations must be received by 9 am on May 14, 2011. If you think you qualify because of your off-line gifts (donations of cash and checks), please take these donations to the OHS tent at Doggie Dash so these donations can be counted toward your total.

How to Claim Your Prize All prizes will be available for pick up at the Doggie Dash Prize Tent on May 14, 2011 between 9 am – 1 pm (if you cannot attend, please email us to make alternate arrangements).
