Run with the Dogs at Waterfront Park!  
Help turn Waterfront Park into one big block party for pets and people for the 21st annual Doggie Dash. You can run or walk in this 2-mile fun event and come with or without your dog. After the Dash, stay around for music, food, doggie talent contests, and much more! Registration is $20 for runners/walkers, $10 for Lazy Dog supporters. Register here.

Prizes for Doggie Dash Fundraisers
Win prizes for most donations collected. Although the real reward is the satisfaction of helping animals in need, we also offer these Doggie Dash prizes to individual and team fund raisers:

The top individual fundraiser receives a $600 gift certificate from the Sunriver Resort in sunny central Oregon; second place receives a $400 gift certificate from the Elizabeth Street Inn in Newport Oregon; and third place gets two tickets to see Tom Jones May 29 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Special prizes also go to our top teams, including 15 tickets to the Oregon International Air Show for the #1 team (and more -- see below). Prizes provided courtesy of K103-FM.

Individual fundraisers get prizes at these levels:

Top Individual: $600 gift certificate from the Sunriver Resort in sunny central Oregon, OHS fleece blanket, OHS sweat shirt, the #1 starting position for next year's Doggie Dash.

2nd Place Individual:$400 gift certificate from the Elizabeth Street Inn in Newport Oregon

3rd Place Individual: two tickets to see Tom Jones May 29 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Other prizes are offered for inviduals who raise the following amounts:

$250: OHS Baseball Cap in black or tan color. High-quality hat with the OHS logo.

$500: OHS sweat shirt and Baseball Cap.

Team Captains get prizes at these levels:

$250: OHS Baseball Cap in black or tan color.

$500: OHS Baseball Cap plus OHS sweat shirt.

Top three fundraising teams:

Special hospitality tent at Doggie Dash for their team, including food and beverages and OHS concierge who will register team members and provide t-shirts;

All members of the top three team fundraising teams will be invited to a special party in their honor at OHS. Enjoy free food and drink, tours of the shelter, and accept personal thanks for your efforts from OHS staff.

#1 Fundraising team:

Members of the leading team will be "top dogs" who start at the front of the pack at next year's Doggie Dash.

The top team also gets 15 tickets to the Oregon International Air Show this summer.

Note: employees of OHS and sponsors (and teams representing OHS employees or sponsor employees) are not eligible for prizes. In the event that a person qualifies for a prize in two categories (top team captain and top individual fundraiser), only one prize will be awarded to that individual; this is because all donations to individuals who are part of a team are counted toward both the individual's total and the team's total.
