Gil gives me good memories, like when I first saw him at the Portland Airport. A nice lady from the airline told us that she had the cutest puppy she had ever seen in a room, and she didn’t want to give him up, but he was my Christmas present. He was soft and looked like he needed me. I loved him from then on. Gil has taught me how to act towards people. Like a brother, Gil has taught me to pay attention to his needs, not just mine. When Gil and I play together I am not too rough because I could hurt him. He shows me what he likes and doesn’t like by snuggling me or running away. When I play like he wants me to, he licks me and tries to get me to chase him. He’s a good friend.
