Buddy Boy is a very intelligent and responsive dog. He is looking for an adult home or one with older children. The younger tots seem to frighten him with their quick movements and high-pitched voices. Buddy Boy thrives on praise, is sensitive and very trainable. He appears to get along quite happily with other dogs as long as they are not bossy and don't jump on him. He will, however, need a cat-free home because he does what Herding dogs do: chase small furry things that run. Buddy Boy is very people-oriented and loves to do what ever his family is doing, which also includes hanging out or watching TV. He would be the ideal pet for someone wanting a companion dog to snuggle up with on cold nights.
