IN FOSTER: Dakota is a very shy soul who is in need of a patient, loving home. He was removed from a neglectful situation by the OHS Investigations Department and is now receiving much needed care and socialization in his foster home. Dakota is a Mustang from BLM land who has been handled previously, but he is feeling very nervous right now. He is showing progress and we think he will bond very closely to one person if they take the time to work with him slowly. He will take treats but is not sure about being touched and will spend most of his time at the back of his stall right now. He does seem social with other horses, although he has not been around many new horses lately.
