Westside Adoption Center Grand Opening April 17

Located about one mile north of the Sellwood Bridge in Southwest Portland..

You’re invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center on Sunday, April 17.

 

Your dog can enjoy a free swim in a heated therapy pool and a free massage by Heal NW. You can learn dog grooming techniques from an expert and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

 

Of course, the highlight of the day will be meeting OHS dogs and cats available for adoption at the new center, which is housed inside the LexiDog Boutique at 6100 SW Macadam Ave.

 

At Westside, OHS dogs can be seen at their social best, playing and mingling with other dogs in the LexiDog day care area.

 

There will be about a dozen dogs available for adoption at the grand opening -- and throughout the year. For cat lovers, a new glass-enclosed colony room will host eight OHS cats.

Adoptions at LexiDog will take place just like they do at OHS. Visitors will be able to have one-on-one time with their prospective new pet and have a pet meet with their current family dog. All pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and will include all the other benefits of adopting from OHS.

 

LexiDog also offers doggie day care to the public, pet boarding, grooming and a variety of pet related toys, food and accessories.
